Clamps came with DSD street legal kit, fit perfect. Could be used for pretty much anything you want to clamp to your forks. I wanted to have the ability to use the kit included headlights and my old one so Jackson sent an extra switch and harness. Super awesome kit, well thought out. Way better price than equivalent competitors. Tusk has a CHEAPER kit but you will definitely get your rear blinkers ripped off off-road. Exactly what I wanted. Jackson was quick to respond to my questions and set up the kit perfect for easy installation. Pressure sensors for brake pistons worked well too for my KTM 250xc. Highly recommend.
Kit looks great and is easy to install. Didnt read that the license plate and mount wasnt included, emailed Jackson late at night and had a response and order within minutes. Very accommodating and very kind.

I bought the street legal kit with the license plate illumination light, and I absolutely love it because not only there are connectors for everything, making everything is easily replaceable, but also when having issues installing (user error), I emailed the guy and had very quick responses. Would buy again!! (in the photo I have it custom mounted, but normally it is mounted on the end of the fender)

Hi anthony are you talking about the licence plate mount itself or the whole kit? I have the plate mounts laser cut, bent and powdercoated at a local shop and that definitly isnt cheap for me either. I try to avoid china parts as much as possible especially for things like the headlight mounts and other brackets.
I liked the kit overall, and it’s a good substitute for the OEM parts. However, the more DOT-compliant taillight options seem to be pretty fragile. I’ve never dropped the bike, but I already noticed them coming loose from the main taillight assembly.
Additionally, the front left blinker (also the more DOT-compliant version) stopped working, and I had to order a replacement through AliExpress.
I do like the kit and I support small businesses, but I think the DOT-compliant options need a redesign and should most likely be updated before being sold further.
Thanks for your feedback, I am currently designing a custom PCB for a new tail light design that will be better in every way and is almost ready. I would have happily replaced any parts at no cost that break during normal use. You will find I am very resposive to send replacement parts and help my customers. Looks like the DOT style blinkers you got were a newer style I was trying out that are plastic housing instead of the metal housing ones I normally use. Good to know they dont hold up as well. It does look like maybe something caught it though as it is snapped right off and is not just loose. is it perfect, no, is it effective? Oh hell yea! And worth every penny. Only had to do one modification to it prior to install and that was make a channel for the heater grip wire to go through in order to make the mount fit right.

Great product and works well. But you definitely need to know or have skills to install even with the video. The only problem was one of the turn signals, the screws were tightened too tight during production and cracked the plastic.

Also I have also now switched the front dot style blinkers to a style more similar to the oem blinkers which are both easier to install and have connectors on them.

Installed on my bike 4 months ago and it’s been working great haven’t had any issues with it and I’ve been getting deep in the mud and water. Was easy to install and the headlights are VERY bright for how small the are I get flashed sometimes lol. Would definitely recommend this product as a budget friendly super moto light kit for YZs. Did put hot glue where the wires enter the lights for extra water proofing aswell.
