Five stars all around! Huge thanks to my dude for putting this kit together. My 2026 Stark Varg EX was lacking light on the trail at night, and after researching a bunch of external lighting systems, this seemed like the best choice.

Installation was easy. The only modification I needed was a slightly longer screw for the on/off switch. Because of the Varg’s mirror mount, I had to position the switch where the handlebar begins to bend.

The entire kit feels solid and well-built. Honestly, if anything ever fails, it will probably be because I zip-tied lights to an 80-horsepower dirt bike and sent it, not because of the product. You’re silly if you think I’m gonna to send it!

Clamps came with DSD street legal kit, fit perfect. Could be used for pretty much anything you want to clamp to your forks. I wanted to have the ability to use the kit included headlights and my old one so Jackson sent an extra switch and harness. Super awesome kit, well thought out. Way better price than equivalent competitors. Tusk has a CHEAPER kit but you will definitely get your rear blinkers ripped off off-road. Exactly what I wanted. Jackson was quick to respond to my questions and set up the kit perfect for easy installation. Pressure sensors for brake pistons worked well too for my KTM 250xc. Highly recommend.

Lights are easy to install, insanely clean retains a pure supermoto look to the bike, extremely bright, customer service is quick and phenomenal! thank you jackson!!!

I bought the street legal kit with the license plate illumination light, and I absolutely love it because not only there are connectors for everything, making everything is easily replaceable, but also when having issues installing (user error), I emailed the guy and had very quick responses. Would buy again!! (in the photo I have it custom mounted, but normally it is mounted on the end of the fender)

Great kit, very easy to install

Installed on my bike 4 months ago and it’s been working great haven’t had any issues with it and I’ve been getting deep in the mud and water. Was easy to install and the headlights are VERY bright for how small the are I get flashed sometimes lol. Would definitely recommend this product as a budget friendly super moto light kit for YZs. Did put hot glue where the wires enter the lights for extra water proofing aswell.

Super easy to put on the bike. Took me about 20 minutes to kinda lay everything out roughly where I wanted it. 1 hours for actual install. Super sick!

I originally found Dirt Scoot Designs when I googled “street legal dirtbike kit”. I was looking to see if there was a way to get what I needed while trying to avoid large soulless corporations. I looked around Jackson’s site, and found the harness I needed. The website was functional and easy to navigate, but what really makes DSD stand out is the customer service and knowledge.

After ordering my harness, Jackson very quickly contacted me to confirm that I had the correct harness for my bike. Not only did he answer my newbie questions, he in fact noticed that there was a more suitable harness for my dirt bike. Without me noticing or saying anything, Jackson identified what worked best for my bike and refunded me the extra money that I saved with the improved harness. Installed on my 2023 Crf450rx and works perfectly. All connections were easy to figure out. I opted to mount the headlights to the forks which is very stealthy. Best part is I was considering buying an RL but wanted street legal with all the HP and no mirrors sticking out, so ended up buying and converting the RX.

It was perfect for my grandsons little mx pitt bike.

Got it all installed and looks great. The rear fender is really narrow at the end, but I made a bracket that allows the tail light and license plate it to hang off the end . All works well so far with the external battery.

Got my kit in and was able to get everything wired up and nicely hidden in about 2 hours. Everything was pretty straight forward all connections can only go one way so there’s no headache in trying to figure out what goes where. The seller had super great communication on his products annd super speedy shipping and was even able to fabricate the kit to where I could use the rear brake as the banjo bolt. The kit looks amazing on my bike. Will definitely use this kit again in the future.
